Stewart Cink has secured his first-ever major title after a dramatic finish to the Open Championship at Turnberry yesterday evening. Cink beat five-times champion Tom Watson in a four-hold play-off after the pair finished tied on two under par after 72 holes. Watson, who is just days short of his 60th birthday, had a chance to win the tournament outright if he could hold par on his final hole. However, he missed a 10-foot putt and Cink went on to dominate the play-off. He admitted afterwards that he had mixed feelings about beating his fellow American after watching Watson come so close to an astonishing victory.  For more details visit here
